Surya is happy to announce that BALM has been successfully implemented for four international operations of Axis Bank i.e. Hong Kong, Singapore, United Arab Emirates and Sri Lanka. Axis Bank is the third largest private bank in India with an asset size around USD 51 billion.

Implementation at international operations required complex mapping from data sources for their numerous banking products. Surya’s expertise efficiently tackled the challenge and was able to deliver the solution as scheduled.

Axis Bank, India has been using BALM since 2003 for domestic operations.
FDH Bank, Malawi has chosen to implement SMERATE, Surya’s credit scoring and workflow management system. FDH is a commercial bank based in Blantyre, Malawi. It offers a wide range of retail and corporate banking products and services.

SMERATE helps banks to incorporate multiple scoring models that assess credit risk of small and medium organizations . It also has a workflow system, proposal template and financial analysis module that helps in credit rating evaluation.



Surya has completed implementation of FTP (Funds Transfer Pricing) solution at ibq.

Surya FTP’s system is a management accounting system that helps banks to improve insights into profitability and incentivizes right behaviour. FTP helps to measure and analyse profit by product, product categories, customer, customer categories, business lines and business units - on both assets and liabilities.


United Bank of India sponsored four Regional Rural Banks have selected Surya’s BALM to manage their ALM operations. These RRB’s are located at Assam, Manipur, Tripura and West Bengal. Banks will leverage BALM’s analytical capabilities for management of their assets and liabilities book from interest rate risk and liquidity risk perspectives.

BALM provides ALM related regulatory reports that need to be submitted to the central bank.

  
Surya has been chosen by FDH Bank, Malawi to implement Call Report Generator.

Call Report is a list of regulatory reports that banks under jurisdiction of Reserve Bank of Malawi need to submit. Surya’s Call Report Generator will help FDH to generate reports related to capital adequacy, credit risk, market risk, operational risk and liquidity risk in a single software application.

BALM’s analytical capabilities help banks to manage their assets & liabilities book from interest rate risk and liquidity risk perspectives.

Banks will be able to generate ALM related regulatory reports that need to be submitted to the central bank.
Surya has released FV Calculator - a system that helps banks to calculate diminution value of restructured loans. 

Calculation of diminution value is required as part of Reserve Bank of India regulatory directive. System discounts principal and interest cash flows with rate curves defaulted as base rate and current interest rate respectively. Fair Value thus arrived is then adjusted with term premium and credit premium.
